So, here’s a situation that, if you haven’t experienced it already, you will probably encounter sooner or later. You’ve found the perfect weaving project, except for one thing. Either the yarn specified is not available, or it’s too expensive, or you want to use something from your stash. What are your options if you still want to weave the project? One thing you can do is to substitute a different yarn, but just any yarn won’t do. You need to find a substitute similar enough to the original yarn that it will make for a successful project.
